Having children can prevent you from Ovarian Cancer?

Ovary is the organ in the female reproductive system that produces eggs through ovulatory cycle i.e. egg producing cycle. Ovarian cancer is an aggressive cancer that occurs in the ovary. It has been seen that the more the number of ovulatory cycles, more is the risk of cancer. As during pregnancy, ovulatory cycles are paused, the risk of cancer is reduced. More the number of children more the protective effect against ovarian cancer. On the other side, infertility or having no children increases the risk.
