Did You Know? Bone pain can be due to prostate cancer
Many a times, prostate cancer presents in stages when it has already spread to bones extensively. The patient may just have pain in the back, legs or arms and nothing else. Few of them may come with fracture in bone, which is then found out to be cancer in bone coming from the prostate.
Blood test (PSA), rectal examination, bone scan and PSMA PET scan help to further identify cancer. If prostate cancer is detected, it can be treated even in this stage.
