     Postate cancer can be genetically related
    Genetically related cancer means some mutations cause cancer and these mutations are carried to children too. So,           the  blood relations of a patient with this type of cancer are at risk of certain types of cancer.
    As breast and other gynec cancers are more commonly genetically related, it is believed that only women carry the           risk of genetically related cancer. But the genes like BRCA, MSI which are mutated; can also cause cancer in men.         Prostatecancer is one such cancer which can be inherited and is related to BRCA mutation.
     So, if any of your blood relative has cancer, you should consult a genetic cousellor and follow the advice.
